Lance Stroll is a speed racing driver. He competes for Formula One (F1), under the Canadian flag, for Racing Point. Later in 2015, he became Toyota Racing Series Champion. Subsequently, he became the 2016 FIA Formula 3 European champion.
Lance was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 29th October 1998. His father is Lawrence Stroll, a billionaire Canadian businessman. His mother is Claire-Anne Stroll, a Belgian fashion designer who runs a fashion business named Callens. Stroll has one elder sister, Chloe Stroll. At the age of 10, the Belgian-Canadian began his motorsport career in karting. Later in 2009, he became the driver of the year. In 2010, the Ferrari Driver Academy signed him. Stroll made his car racing debut against future Formula One competitors Max Verstappen and Nicholas Latifi in the 2014 Florida Winter Series, a non-championship series organized by the Ferrari Driver Academy. In the 2014 Italian Formula 4 Championship, he made his competitive car racing debut, driving for Prema Powerteam. He became the series champion, recording seven race wins, thirteen podium finishes, and five pole positions, despite he missed the final round due to injury.

Lance became the first Canadian Formula One driver since the 1997 World Driver’s Champion Jacques Villeneuve, after driving for the Williams Racing team for the 2017 Formula One season. 2018 was a rough start for Stroll, with numerous mistakes and incidents within the first few races. He failed to score in Canada, his home race where he crashed with Brendon Hartley; scored his next point at Monza despite the 8th place in Azerbaijan. In 2020, Stroll tested positive for COVID-19 and was quarantined for 10 days. After completing the mandated 10 day quarantine period, he was able to take part in the next round, the Portuguese Grand Prix.
